About Us
Community Sports Mentoring and Coaching actively strives to empower youth to cultivate their dreams and achieve their full potential in life. We utilise sport as a vessel for change by engaging and connecting with young people using sport and leading towards mentorship, community, education, and employment pathways. Our team, led by 2-time Olympian and Hall of Fame inductee Brian Kerle, has over 40 years of experience working with at-risk, in-detention, transitioning, disengaged, regional, First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse, and vulnerable youth all over Queensland. Our mission is to give all young people the opportunity to reach their potential.
We believe that every young person deserves a positive role model and the chance to succeed regardless of their circumstances. By meeting youth where they are and guiding them toward where they want to be, we help turn potential into achievement and challenges into opportunities for growth. Through sport, mentorship, and community connection, we aim to inspire the next generation to lead healthy, purposeful, and empowered lives
